As Vice President, Strategy & Business Development at ESMIA, Alexandra leads the company’s strategic positioning and growth initiatives, concentrating on expanding markets, building partnerships, and structuring innovative commercial opportunities for clients. Her role bridges business development and long-term strategic planning, ensuring ESMIA’s energy-economy-environmental modelling expertise supports governments, utilities, and private sector leaders in navigating and maximizing the opportunities in the future of energy security and the global energy transition.

Alexandra has over 20 years of corporate experience in finance, controlling, commercial business development, and project management in various industries, most notably in manufacturing and management of large-scale hydroelectric infrastructure projects across North America. She has led high-stakes negotiations, overseen complex risk and opportunity portfolios, and steered the execution of long-term capital investment projects, building a strong foundation at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations.

She is also actively engaged in industry associations, advisory groups, and various board roles that support and foster innovation, sustainability, and economic growth.

Alexandra holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American University and Université Paris Dauphine, and an executive master’s degree in business administration from McGill University and HEC Montréal.
