Client: Institute of Mathematics and Physics in Dangbo (Benin) supported by the World Bank through the African Center of Excellence in Mathematical Sciences and Applications

This school is supported by several operational research societies around the world and short courses are delivered by international scholars and practitioners to young researchers and professionals from African countries with outstanding performance in the areas of operations research (OR), machine learning, systems engineering and applied mathematics. It is providing one-day trainings on optimization techniques applied to the climate mitigation challenge, the basics on energy technology systems analysis, the representation of systems using linear programming, the TIMES optimization model generator and the scenario analysis approach.
