ESMIA delivered a comprehensive modernization of ETSAP\u2019s TIMES\u2013VEDA basic training, one of the core capacity-building activities of the IEA-ETSAP community. The project revised and updated the long-standing 3-day training program, incorporating feedback from Contracting Parties and the wider modelling community. New elements included a prerequisite online session, an automated entry test with Excel proficiency check, and revised agendas for both in-person and online formats. ESMIA developed a full suite of pedagogically structured materials\u2014slide decks, demo models, exercises, and dashboards\u2014together with a series of concise video tutorials aligned with ETSAP branding. To support flexibility, a self-study guide and troubleshooting annex were also produced, ensuring the materials function as both instructor-led and self-paced training. The result is a modern, scalable training package that equips the next generation of energy modellers and enhances global adoption of the TIMES\u2013VEDA framework.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
