{"id":128,"date":"2022-10-14T13:37:46","date_gmt":"2022-10-14T13:37:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/esmia.ca\/?post_type=projet&#038;p=128"},"modified":"2022-11-01T13:17:03","modified_gmt":"2022-11-01T13:17:03","slug":"optimal-ghg-reduction-trajectories-for-quebec-horizon-2030-and-2050-update-2021","status":"publish","type":"projet","link":"https:\/\/esmia.ca\/en\/projet\/optimal-ghg-reduction-trajectories-for-quebec-horizon-2030-and-2050-update-2021","title":{"rendered":"Optimal GHG reduction trajectories for Quebec \u2013 Horizon 2030 and 2050 (Update 2021)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>More than an update of the first publication published in 2019, this new study <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dunsky.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Rapport_Final_Trajectoires_QC_2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trajectoires<\/a> carried out for the Government of Quebec is the result of an in-depth modelling exercise aimed at defining decarbonization pathways for the Quebec economy reaching the carbon neutrality by 2050. Using ESMIA economy-wide GHG optimization NATEM model, it provided all the core results enabling to quantify new optimal trajectories allowing Quebec to reach its ambitious climate goals at the minimum cost.
